The Police and Justice Act 2006 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2007

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 53(1) of the Police and Justice Act 2006(1).

1. --(1) This Order may be cited as the Police and Justice Act 2006 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2007.

(2) This Order extends to Scotland and Northern Ireland.

2. Section 41 (immigration and asylum enforcement function: complaints and misconduct) of the Police and Justice Act 2006 shall come into force in Scotland and Northern Ireland on 10th October 2007.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings into force on 10th October 2007 in Scotland and Northern Ireland section 41 of the Police and Justice Act 2006.
