Citation1. В В This Order may be cited as the Welfare Reform Act 2007 Commencement (No. 2) Order 2007. Appointed day2. --(1)В The day appointed for the coming into force of section 58 of, and Schedule 6 to, the Welfare Reform Act 2007 for the purpose only of conferring power to make an order is 12th July 2007. (2)В The day appointed for the coming into force of section 58 of, and Schedule 6 to, that Act for all other purposes is 10th August 2007. Bill McKenzie Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department for Work and Pensions 11th July 2007 EXPLANATORY NOTE(This note is not part of the Order) This Order brings into force section 58 of and Schedule 6 to the Welfare Reform Act 2007, which substitute a new definition of "relevant employer" and insert a new Schedule into the Pneumoconiosis etc. (Workers' Compensation) Act 1979 ("the 1979 Act"). Section 58 and Schedule 6 come into force on 12th July 2007 for the purposes of making an order. The order will prescribe occupations in relation to diseases under the 1979 Act for the purposes determining who is a "relevant employer". Section 58 and Schedule 6 come into force on 10th August 2007 for all other purposes. A full regulatory impact assessment has not been carried out in relation to this Order as it does not impose a cost on business, charities or voluntary bodies. NOTE AS TO EARLIER COMMENCEMENT ORDERS(This note is not part of the Order)
