The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 31(3) of the Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 [1], makes the following Order: Citation and interpretation 1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2006. (2) In this Order "the Act" means the Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006. Commencement of provisions 2.Section 25 of the Act (sustainable development) shall come into force on 31st March 2007. 3.Section 26 of, and Schedule 3 to, the Act (extension to Northern Ireland of the Provisions of SOCAP 2005) shall come into force on 1st December 2006. Northern Ireland Office Peter Hain One of Her Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State 13th November 2006 (This note is not part of the Order) This Order brings into force on 31st March 2007 and 1st December 2006 the provisions of the Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 listed in articles 2 and 3 respectively.
