IDENTITY CARDS


The Identity Cards Act 2006 (Commencement No.2) Order 2006


 Made23rd September 2006 

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 44(3) of the Identity Cards Act 2006[1], makes the following Order:

Citation
    1.This Order may be cited as the Identity Cards Act 2006 (Commencement No.2) Order 2006.

Commencement
    2.Section 37 of the Identity Cards Act 2006 (Report to Parliament about likely cost of ID cards scheme) shall come into force on 30th September 2006.
