Present,
The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the power conferred on Her by section 1(2) of the Education Act 2005[1], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, as follows:

    1.This Order may be cited as the Education (Inspectors of Schools in England) Order 2006.

    2.The persons named in the Schedule to this Order are appointed Her Majesty's Inspectors of Schools in England.
