The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 253(5) and 330(3)(a) of the Criminal Justice Act 2003[1] hereby makes the following Order: 1. - (1) This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Sentencing) (Curfew Condition) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 4th April 2005. (2) In this Order "police area" has the meaning given by section 1 of the Police Act 1996[2]. 2.The description of person responsible for monitoring the whereabouts of an offender subject to a curfew condition for the purposes of section 253(5) (curfew condition to be included in licence under section 246) of the Criminal Justice Act 2003[3] -
(b) in relation to such a condition imposed on an offender residing in a police area specified in Schedule 2 to this Order, is one employed by Securicor Justice Services, Sutton Park, 15 Carshalton Road, Sutton, Surry, SML 4LD to monitor offenders.
