The Education (National Curriculum) (Foundation Stage Profile Assessment Arrangements) (England) (Amendment) Order 2004

	Coming into force	31st March 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by sections 87(2)(c), (6) and 210(7) of the Education Act 2002[1], the Secretary of State for Education and Skills hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement
    1.This Order may be cited as the Education (National Curriculum) (Foundation Stage Profile Assessment Arrangements) (England) (Amendment) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 31st March 2004.

Amendment of Order
    2. - (1) The Education (National Curriculum) (Foundation Stage Profile Assessment Arrangements) (England) Order 2003[2] is amended in accordance with paragraph (2) below.

    (2) In article 4(4) for "by the end of the final term of the foundation stage and not later than 4th July falling in that term if earlier" substitute the following -

" no later than the date two weeks before the last day of the final term of the foundation stage and, in any event, no later than 30th June falling in that term."

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Education (National Curriculum) (Foundation Stage Profile Assessment Arrangements) (England) Order 2003. It brings forward the date by which the responsible person in a foundation stage setting must complete a foundation stage profile and make a record of attainment.
