The National Health Service Trusts (Originating Capital) Order 2004

	Made	4th March 2004
	Coming into force	31st March 2004

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 9(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, with the consent of the Treasury[2], hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement, application and interpretation
    1. - (1) This Order may be cited as the National Health Service Trusts (Originating Capital) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 31 March 2004.

    (2) This Order applies to England.

Originating capital of NHS trusts
    2.The originating capital of an NHS trust specified in column 1 of the Schedule shall be of the amount specified in the corresponding entry in column 2 of the Schedule.

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order determines the amount of the originating capital, provided for in Section 9 of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990, of NHS Trusts established under that Act between 1 August 2002 and 1 October 2003.
