The Land Registration Act 2002 (Commencement No.3) Order 2003


 Made16th June 2003 

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 136(2) of the Land Registration Act 2002[1], makes the following Order:

    1.This Order may be cited as the Land Registration Act 2002 (Commencement No.3) Order 2003.

    2.Section 102 of the Land Registration Act 2002 shall come into force on 27th June 2003.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order brings into force on 27th June 2003 section 102 of the Land Registration Act 2002, which gives the Lord Chancellor power, with the advice and assistance of the Rule Committee and the consent of the Treasury, to prescribe fees to be paid in respect of certain dealings with the Land Registry and to make provision about the payment of prescribed fees.
