The Office of Communications Act 2002 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2002


 Made29th November 2002 

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred on her by section 7(2) of the Office of Communications Act 2002[1], hereby makes the following Order:

    1.This Order may be cited as the Office of Communications Act 2002 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2002.

    2.Subsections (7) and (8) of section 1 of the Office of Communications Act 2002 shall come into force forthwith.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order brings section 1(7) and (8) of the Office of Communications Act 2002 into force upon signature of the Order.

Sections 4 to 7 came into force upon Royal Assent (19th March 2002).

Sections 1 (except for subsections (7) and (8)), 2 and 3 and the Schedule (except for paragraph 12) came into force on 1st July 2002.

Paragraph 12 of the Schedule is not yet in force.
