The Education (Governors' Annual Reports) (England) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 30(2) of the Education Act 2002[1], the Secretary of State for Education and Skills hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation, commencement and interpretation
    1. - (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Governors' Annual Reports) (England) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 2nd October 2002.

    (2) In these Regulations, "the principal Regulations" means the Education (Governors' Annual Reports) (England) Regulations 1999[2].

Amendment of the principal Regulations
    2.After regulation 3 of the principal Regulations the following regulation shall be inserted - 

      " 3A. The governors' report may be combined with any other document whose preparation by the governing body is required by or under any enactment.".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)


These Regulations amend the Education (Governors' Annual Reports) (England) Regulations 1999. The amendment permits the governors' annual report to be combined with any other document which the governing body is required to prepare by or under any other enactment.
