The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 16A(1), (2) and (3) and 126(3) and (4) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, following compliance with the consultation requirements contained in regulations made under section 16A(5) of the Act[2], hereby makes the following Order: Citation and commencement and interpretation 1. - (1) This Order may be cited as the Rushmoor and Hart Primary Care Trust (Change of Name) No. 2 Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st April 2002. (2) In this Order -
Change of name of Primary Care trust and transitional provisions
(b) be taken as invalidating any instrument (whether made before, on or after the day on which this Order comes into force) which refers to the trust by its previous name, and all instruments and other documents which refer to the trust under its previous name shall be construed as referring to it under its new name. (This note is not part of the Order) This Order amends the Establishment Order of the Rushmoor and Hart Primary Care Trust, a Primary Care Trust established by Order under section 16A of the National Health Service Act 1977, by changing the name of that trust to Blackwater Valley and Hart Primary Care Trust, and makes consequential amendments to the Establishment Order and transitional provisions (article 2). The Order also revokes the Rushmoor and Hart Primary Care Trust (Change of Name) Order 2002 which had changed the name of the trust to Blackwater Valley Primary Care Trust.
