The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 37(6) of and paragraph 7(4) of Schedule 2 to the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000[1], hereby makes the following Order: Citation and commencement 1.This Order may be cited as the Curfew Order and Curfew Requirement (Responsible Officer) (Amendment) Order 2001 and shall come into force at 7.00 p.m. on 1st October 2001. Amendment of the Curfew Order and Curfew Requirement (Responsible Officer) Order 2001 2. - (1) In article 3(c) of the Curfew Order and Curfew Requirement (Responsible Officer) Order 2001[2], for the text from "GSSC" to the end there is substituted "Reliance Secure Task Management Limited of Boundary House, Cricketfield Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 1QG". (2) In the heading to Schedule 3 to that Order, for "GSSC OF EUROPE LIMITED" there is substituted "RELIANCE SECURE TASK MANAGEMENT LIMITED". Keith Bradley Minister of State Home Office 1st October 2001, 6.00 p.m. (This note is not part of the Order) This Order amends the descriptions of persons who are to be made responsible, by a curfew order or a curfew requirement included in a community rehabilitation order, for monitoring an offender's whereabouts during the curfew periods. Employees of GSSC of Europe Limited are replaced by employees of Reliance Secure Task Management Limited in the areas in which GSSC of Europe Limited formerly operated. Notes: [1] 2000 c. 6.
