The Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 25(1), 26, 44(3) and 46(1)[1] of the Dartford-Thurrock Crossing Act 1988[2], hereby makes the following Regulations: Citation and commencement 1.These Regulations may be cited as the Dartford-Thurrock Crossing (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on the 20th September 2001. Dangerous Goods 2.In regulation 5 of the Dartford-Thurrock Crossing Regulations 1998[3], for the reference to the booklet entitled "Dangerous Traffic", 9th edition issued in 1997, there shall be substituted a reference to the 11th edition of that booklet issued in 2001. The booklet may be obtained in person or by post from either Dartford River Crossing Limited, Crossing Offices, South Orbital Way, Dartford, Kent DA1 5PR, or the Mersey Tunnels, Merseyside Passenger Transport Authority, George's Dock Building, George's Dock Way, Pier Head, Liverpool L3 1DD, or the Tyne Tunnel, Wallsend, Tyne and Wear, NE28 0PD.
