The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 36B(5) of the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000[1], hereby makes the following Order: 1.This Order may be cited as the Community Order (Electronic Monitoring of Requirements) (Responsible Officer) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 2nd July 2001. 2.In this Order, "responsible officer" means the person responsible for the electronic monitoring (in pursuance of a requirement included in the order under section 36B(1) of the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000) of the offender's compliance with any requirement imposed by a community order. 3.Where the relevant area (within the meaning of section 36B(7) to (10) of the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000) for a community order is an area specified in Schedule 1 to this Order, the responsible officer shall be an employee of Premier Monitoring Services Limited of Berkshire Court, Western Road, Bracknell, Berkshire RG12 1RE. 4.Where the relevant area for a community order is an area specified in Schedule 2 to this Order, the responsible officer shall be an employee of Securicor Custodial Services Limited of Sutton Park, 15 Carshalton Road, Sutton, Surrey SM1 4LD. 5.Where the relevant area for a community order is an area specified in Schedule 3 to this Order, the responsible officer shall be an employee of GSSC of Europe Limited of Carmelite, 50 Victoria Embankment, London EC4Y 0DX.
