The Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 49(4) and (5) and 143 of the Railways Act 1993[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order: - Citation and commencement 1.This Order may be cited as the Railways (Closure Provisions) (Exemptions) (St. Pancras) Order 2001 and shall come into force -

Definitions
(b) the railway lines running to St. Pancras station from the junction immediately beneath the bridge known as "Bridge number 13", which carries the North London Line over the Midland Main Line; (c) the railway lines that -
(ii) are connected to railway junctions that are south of the junction mentioned in paragraph (b) above; and (d) all installations associated with the railway lines mentioned in paragraphs (a) to (c) above and which form part of a network; and
Disapplication of section 39 of the Railways Act 1993 (This note is not part of the Order) This Order provides that section 41 of the Railways Act 1993 (notification of proposals to close of railway facilities used in connection with passenger services) is not to apply to St. Pancras railway station in London.
