The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and now vested in him[2] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf. 1.This Order may be cited as The A12 London-Great Yarmouth Trunk Road (A12/A14 Seven Hills Roundabout to South of Bascule Bridge) Detrunking Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st June 2001. 2.In this Order -
3.From the date when this Order comes into force the length of the trunk road described in the Schedule 1 to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a principal road.
