The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 415 of the Insolvency Act 1986[1], and with the sanction of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order: - 1.This Order may be cited as the Insolvency Fees (Amendment) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 2nd April 2001. 2.The Insolvency Fees Order 1986[2] shall be amended by the insertion of the following entry at the end of Part II of the Schedule to that Order: -
(This note does not form part of the Order) This Order further amends the Insolvency Fees Order 1986 (S.I. 1986/2030). It prescribes the fee payable in respect of the purchase of Government securities pursuant to a request made by a trustee of a bankrupt's estate under regulation 23A of the Insolvency Regulations 1994 (S.I. 1994/2507). Regulation 23A was inserted into the Insolvency Regulations 1994 by the Insolvency (Amendment) Regulations 2001 (S.I. 2001/762). A Regulatory Impact Assessment is available, copies of which have been placed in the libraries of both Houses of Parliament.
