The Postal Services Commission (Register) Order 2001


 Made28th February 2001 
 Laid before Parliament1st March 2001 
 Coming into force26th March 2001 

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 38(8) of the Postal Services Act 2000[1] hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement
    1.This Order may be cited as the Postal Services Commission (Register) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 26th March 2001.

Hours at which the register is to be open for inspection
    2.The contents of the register shall be available for inspection by the public between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on every day other than a Saturday, a Sunday, Christmas Day, Good Friday or a day which is a bank holiday in England within the meaning of the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971[2].

This Order specifies the hours during which the register maintained by the Postal Services Commission under section 38 of the Postal Services Act 2000 is to be kept open for public inspection.
