The Air Navigation (General) (Amendment) Regulations 2000


 Made24th July 2000 
 Coming into force14th August 2000 

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 4(5) of Schedule 5 to the Air Navigation Order 2000[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Regulations:

    1.These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (General) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 14th August 2000.

    2.The Air Navigation (General) Regulations 1993[2] shall be amended by substituting in regulation 18 for "For the purposes of article 39(1), the following airspace is hereby prescribed, that is to say " " For the purposes of article 47(1) of the Air Navigation Order 2000 the following airspace is hereby prescribed as North Atlantic Minimum Navigation Performance Specification Airspace, that is to say".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)


These Regulations further amend the Air Navigation (General) Regulations 1993 by describing the airspace prescribed for the purpose of Minimum Navigation Performance as North Atlantic Minimum Navigation Performance Specification Airspace in accordance with the Air Navigation Order 2000.
