The European Communities (Designation) (No. 2) Order 2000

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972[1] is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

Citation and commencement
    1.This Order may be cited as the European Communities (Designation) (No. 2) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 14th August 2000.

Designation of Ministers
    2.For the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, the Ministers specified in column (1) of Schedule 1 to this Order are designated in relation to the matters specified in column (2) of that Schedule.

Revocation
    3.Schedule 2 (which contains a revocation of a superseded designation) shall have effect.
