Electronic Communications Act 2000 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2000


 Made6th July 2000 

The Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 16(2) of the Electronic Communications Act 2000[1] hereby makes the following Order:

Citation
    1.This Order may be cited as the Electronic Communications Act 2000 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2000.

Appointed Day
    2.Sections 7, 11 and 12 of the Electronic Communications Act 2000 shall come into force on 25th July 2000.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order brings into force sections 7, 11 and 12 of the Electronic Communications Act 2000 on 25th July 2000. Part I of the Act has not yet been brought into force. All other provisions came into force at the time of Royal Assent.
