The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(1) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis pursuant to section 7(6) of that Act[2], hereby makes the following Order: 1.This Order may be cited as the A4 Trunk Road (Bath Road, Hillingdon) (Prohibition of U-Turns) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 10th April 2000. 2.In this Order-
3.No person shall cause or permit any vehicle proceeding in Bath Road to make a "U" turn through the gaps in the central reservation at the junction with Sipson Way so as to proceed in the opposite direction.
