The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by sections 1(1) and 6(1) of the Government Trading Funds Act 1973[1] and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, with the concurrence of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order - Citation and commencement 1.This Order may be cited as the Buying Agency Trading Fund (Amendment) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 1st April 2000. Amendment 2.In Article 4 of the Buying Agency Trading Fund Order 1991[2] for "the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster" substitute "the Treasury". Marjorie Mowlam Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster 8th March 2000 We concur Bob Ainsworth Greg Pope Two of the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury 8th March 2000 (This note is not part of the Order) This Order amends the Buying Agency Trading Fund Order 1991 by substituting in Article 4 a reference to the Treasury for the reference to the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, thereby making the Treasury the authorised lender to the Fund. The Order is consequential upon the transfer of the Buying Agency from the Cabinet Office to the Office of Government Commerce in the Treasury.
