The Bath and West Community National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1999

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to changes in the arrangements for the administration of hospitals previously managed by the Taunton and Somerset National Health Service Trust[2], having consulted that Trust and the Bath and West Community National Health Service Trust[3] in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation
1. - (1) This Order may be cited as the Bath and West Community National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 16th November 1999.

(2) In this Order -

"the first Trust" means the Taunton and Somerset National Health Service Trust;

"the second Trust" means the Bath and West Community National Health Service Trust;

"the trust property" means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by, agreed upon by and signed on behalf of the first Trust and the second Trust on 5th July 1999.

Transfer of trust property
2.On 16th November 1999 the trust property shall be transferred from the first Trust to the second Trust.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order transfers to the Bath and West Community National Health Service Trust on 16th November 1999 trust property formerly held by the Taunton and Somerset National Health Service Trust. A copy of the schedule of trust property to which the Order refers can be obtained from the Department of Health, Accounts and Trust Allocations Branch, Room 3W58, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7UE.
