The Children (Allocation of Proceedings) (Amendment) Order 1999

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Part 1 of Schedule 11 to the Children Act 1989[1], makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement
    1.This Order may be cited as the Children (Allocation of Proceedings) (Amendment) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 1999.

Amendments to the Children (Allocation of Proceedings) Order 1991
    2.In Schedule 1 of the Children (Allocation of Proceedings) Order 1991[2],

    (a) under the heading "Northern Circuit", after "Manchester County Court", there shall be inserted "Oldham County Court";

    (b) under the heading "Western Circuit", there shall be inserted "Barnstaple County Court".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order amends the Children (Allocation of Proceedings) Order 1991 so as to nominate Oldham County Court and Barnstaple County Court as Family Hearing Centres
