The Land Authority for Wales (Abolition) Order 1999

	Made	8th February 1999
	Coming into force	28th February 1999

The Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 139(1) and 154(1) of the Government of Wales Act 1998[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation
    1. - (1) This Order may be cited as the Land Authority for Wales (Abolition) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 28th February 1999.

    (2) In this Order-

"the Authority" means the Land Authority for Wales.

Abolition of the Authority
    2.The Authority is hereby abolished.

This Order abolishes the Land Authority for Wales which was established under the Community Land Act 1975[2].
