The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(1) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police for the Metropolis pursuant to section 7(6) of the Act[2], hereby makes the following Order: 1.This Order may be cited as the A4 Trunk Road (Concorde Roundabout, Hillingdon) (Prohibitions on the Northern Carriageway) Order 1998, and shall come into force on 19th October 1998. 2.In this Order:
3.Save as provided in article 5 below, no person shall, during the 1st prohibited period or 2nd prohibited period, cause or permit any vehicle to enter into the north side circulatory carriageway of Concorde Roundabout.
(b) anything done at the direction or with the permission of a constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
