The Outer Space Act 1986 (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1998

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 4(3)(d) and 11 of the Outer Space Act 1986[1], hereby makes the following Regulations: - 

    1.These Regulations may be cited as the Outer Space Act 1986 (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into force on 30 September 1998.

    2.Paragraph (2) of regulation 3 of the Outer Space Act 1986 (Fees) Regulations 1989[2] is amended by substituting the sum of Ј6,500 for the sum of Ј1,000 specified in that paragraph.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)


These Regulations increase the prescribed fee payable on an application for a licence under the Outer Space Act 1986 made after 29th September 1998 from Ј1,000 to Ј6,500.
