Coventry Airport (Designation) (Detention and Sale of Aircraft) Order 1998

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 88(10) of the Civil Aviation Act 1982[1], hereby makes the following Order.

    1.This Order may be cited as the Coventry Airport (Designation) (Detention and Sale of Aircraft) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 31st August 1998.

    2.Coventry Airport is hereby designated for the purposes of section 88 of the Civil Aviation Act 1982.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order designates Coventry Airport for the purposes of section 88 of the Civil Aviation Act 1982 to enable it to detain and sell aircraft for unpaid airport charges.
