The Water Undertakers (Extension of Byelaws) Order 1997


 Made6th March 1997 
 Coming into force31st March 1997 

The Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of his powers conferred by section 19(6) of the Water Act 1945[1] and now vested in him[2], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement
    1.This Order may be cited as the Water Undertakers (Extension of Byelaws) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 31st March 1997.

Extension of water byelaws
    2.The byelaws listed in column (2) of the Schedule and made by, or having effect as if made by, the water undertakers listed in column (1) of the Schedule under section 17 of the Water Act 1945 (prevention of waste of water etc.) shall remain in force until 30th September 1998.
