The Severn Trent Water Limited (Extension of Byelaws) Order 1997


 Made4th March 1997 
 Coming into force5th March 1997 

The Secretary for the Environment and the Secretary of State for Wales acting jointly, in exercise of powers conferred by section 19(6) of the Water Act 1945[1] and now vested in them[2], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement
    1.This Order may be cited as the Severn Trent Water Limited (Extension of Byelaws) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 5th March 1997.

Extension of byelaws
    2.The byelaws made by Severn Trent Water Authority on 13th March 1987 and having effect as if made by Severn Trent Water Limited shall remain in force until 30th September 1998.
