The North and Mid Hampshire Health Authority (Transfers of Trust Property) Order 1997

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the changes in the arrangements for the administration of hospitals and other establishments and facilities previously managed by the Winchester Health Authority and the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Health Authority resulting from the establishment of the National Health Service trusts specified in the Schedule to this Order, having consulted the North and Mid Hampshire Health Authority and those trusts in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation
    1. - (1) This Order may be cited as the North and Mid Hampshire Health Authority (Transfers of Trust Property) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 20th March 1997.

    (2) In this Order - 

"the Authority" means the North and Mid Hampshire Health Authority;

"the Schedule" means the Schedule to this Order;

"the trust property" means, in the case of each body specified in column (1) of the Schedule, the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared, agreed upon and signed on behalf of the Authority and that body on 16th January 1997.

Transfer of trust property
    2.On 20th March 1997 the trust property which is trust property in relation to an NHS trust specified in the Schedule shall be transferred from the Authority to that NHS trust.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order transfers on 20th March 1997 to the National Health Service trusts specified in the Schedule to the Order trust property held by the North and Mid Hampshire Health Authority (article 2).
