INDUSTRIAL TRIBUNALS
The Industrial Tribunals Act 1996 (Commencement) Order 1996
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraphs 7(1), (2), (7) and (8) of Part II of Schedule 2 to the Industrial Tribunals Act 1996[1], hereby makes the following Order: Citation 1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Tribunals Act 1996 (Commencement) Order 1996. Commencement 2. The day appointed as that from which the Industrial Tribunals Act 1996 has effect with the inclusion of sections 12(3) to (6) and 32(3) to (6) of the Act is the day after the day on which this Order is made.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)This Order commences the sections of the Industrial Tribunals Act 1996 ("the 1996 Act") referred to in Article 2 on the day after the Order is made.
Paragraphs 7(1), (2), (7) and (8) of Part II of Schedule 2 to the 1996 Act have the effect that in these circumstances the Act has effect with the omission of the provisions in question until such day as the Secretary of State may appoint by order.
