The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 4(2) of the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967[1], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows: —
1. This Order may be cited as the Parliamentary Commissioner (No. 2) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 18th November 1996.
2. Schedule 2 to the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967[2] shall be amended by the insertion in the appropriate place in alphabetical order of the entries "English Sports Council" and "United Kingdom Sports Council".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)This order adds the English Sports Council and the United Kingdom Sports Council to the list of departments and authorities subject to investigation by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration.
