The Closure of Prisons (H.M. Young Offender Institution Finnamore Wood) Order 1996

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 37 of the Prison Act 1952^[1], hereby makes the following Order:

    1.    This Order may be cited as the Closure of Prisons (H.M. Young Offender Institution Finnamore Wood) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 1st September 1996.

    2.    The young offender institution known as H.M. Young Offender Institution Finnamore Wood and situate in the county of Buckinghamshire shall close on the coming into force of this Order.
