The City of Stoke-On-Trent (Lichfield Street Canal Bridge) Scheme, 1995 Confirmation Instrument 1996

Made	15th January 1996

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Instrument in exercise of powers conferred by section 106(3) and 108(4) of the Highways Act 1980^[1], and now vested in him^[2], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf:

    1.    This Instrument may be cited as the City of Stoke-on-Trent (Lichfield Street Canal Bridge) Scheme, 1995 Confirmation Instrument 1996 and shall come into force on the date on which notice that it has been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.

    2.    The City of Stoke-on-Trent (Lichfield Street Canal Bridge) Scheme, 1995 is hereby confirmed with modifications.

    3.    The said Scheme as confirmed (hereinafter referred to as "the Scheme") is set out in the Schedule hereto and copies of the Scheme with its accompanying plan are deposited at the offices of the Department of Transport, Great Minster House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR, and at the offices of the City Council of Stoke-on-Trent, Gordon House, Kingsway, Stoke-on-Trent.
