The Antarctic (Amendment) Regulations 1995

    The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, in exercise of his powers under Section 32(1) (b) of the Antarctic Act 1994[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
    Citation and commencement
        1.    These Regulations may be cited as the Antarctic (Amendment) Regulations 1995 and shall come into force on 1st November 1995.
    Amendment of Regulation 1 of the Antarctic Regulations 1995
        2.    Regulation 1 of the Antarctic Regulations 1995[2] shall be amended by substituting for the words "shall come into force on such day as the Secretary of State may by order appoint and different days may be appointed for different provisions and different purposes" the words "shall come into force on 1st November 1995".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)
    These Regulations amend the Antarctic Regulations 1995 so as to bring them into force on 1st November 1995.
