The National Health Service Supplies Authority (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1995

    The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of establishments and facilities formerly managed by the Yorkshire Regional Health Authority resulting from the establishment of the National Health Service Supplies Authority[2], having consulted the Northern and Yorkshire Regional Health Authority[3] and the National Health Service Supplies Authority in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
    Citation, commencement and interpretation
        1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the National Health Service Supplies Authority (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 18th October 1995.

        (2)  In this Order—
      "the first Authority" means the Northern and Yorkshire Regional Health Authority;
      "the second Authority" means the National Health Service Supplies Authority;
      "the trust property" means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the first Authority and the second Authority on 25th April 1995, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both the first Authority and the second Authority.

    Transfer of trust property
        2.    On 18th October 1995 the trust property shall be transferred from the first Authority to the second Authority.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order transfers to the National Health Service Supplies Authority on 18th October 1995 trust property formerly held by the Northern and Yorkshire Regional Health Authority. A copy of the schedule of trust property to which the Order refers can be obtained from the Department of Health, Corporate Affairs—Operational Policy Unit 3, Room 311, Eileen House, 80—94 Newington Causeway, London SE1 6EF.
