The Goods Vehicles (International Road Haulage Permits) (Revocation) Regulations 1995

    The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(1) of the International Road Haulage Permits Act 1975[1] and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 1(7) of that Act, and being a Minister designated[2] for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972[3] in relation to the international carriage of passengers and goods by road, and in particular any scheme (including a quota scheme) for making it possible for carriers in member States to conduct road transport operations on routes between member States, in exercise of the powers conferred by that section, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
    Citation and commencement
        1.    These Regulations may be cited as the Goods Vehicles (International Road Haulage Permits) (Revocation) Regulations 1995, and shall come into force on 12th June 1995.
    Revocation
        2.    The Goods Vehicles (International Road Haulage Permits) Regulations 1975[4] are hereby revoked.
        3.    Regulation 13 of the Goods Vehicles (Community Authorisations) Regulations 1992[5] is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)
    These Regulations revoke the Goods Vehicles (International Road Haulage Permits) Regulations 1975, and regulation 13 of the Goods Vehicles (Community Authorisations) Regulations 1992 which amended the 1975 Regulations.
