The Council for the Central Laboratory of the Research Councils Order 1995

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Whereas the Council for the Central Laboratory of the Research Councils is established by Royal Charter for purposes connected with scientific research and consists of persons appointed by a Minister of the Crown: And whereas a draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament in pursuance of section 1(4) of the Science and Technology Act 1965[1] and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament: Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 1(1) of the said Act, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to declare, and it is hereby declared, as follows: 1. The Council for the Central Laboratory of the Research Councils, whose objects are specified in the Schedule to this Order, is established as a Research Council for purposes of the Science and Technology Act 1965. 2. This Order may be cited as the Council for the Central Laboratory of the Research Councils Order 1995 and shall come into force on 1st April 1995.
