    The Registrar General for Scotland, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 1 to the Adoption (Scotland) Act 1978[1] and with the approval of the Secretary of State, hereby makes the following Regulations:
    Citation and commencement
        1.    These Regulations may be cited as the Parental Order Register (Form of Entry) (Scotland) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 1st January 1995.
    Form of entry in the Parental Order Register
        2.    The entry to be made in the Parental Order Register pursuant to a direction contained in a parental order shall be in the form set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
