TELECOMMUNICATIONS
The British Telecommunications (Dissolution) Order 1994

Whereas
(1) the Secretary of State nominated British Telecommunications plc as the successor company to British Telecommunications by the Telecommunications Act 1984 (Nominated Company) Order 1984[1].
(2) the Secretary of State after having consulted British Telecommunications and British Telecommunications plc is satisfied that nothing further remains to be done by British Telecommunications and British Telecommunications plc under Schedule 5 of the Telecommuncations Act 1984[2] ("the Act").
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 69(2) of the Act, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the British Telecommunications (Dissolution) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 6th September 1994.
2. British Telecommunications is hereby dissolved.
