The Severn Bridge (Amendment) Regulations 1994

    The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 21(1), of the Severn Bridges Act 1992[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:-
        1.    These Regulations may be cited as the Severn Bridge (Amendment) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 1st August 1994.
        2.    Regulation 12(6) of the Severn Bridge Regulations 1993[2] shall be amended as follows:
       (a) After the word "repair" there shall be inserted the word "refuelling".
       (b) In sub-paragraph (a) for "£60" there shall be substituted "£80" and for "£30" there shall be substituted "£40".
       (c) In sub-paragraph (b) for "£25" there shall be substituted "£35" and for "£12.50" there shall be substituted "£17.50".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)
    These Regulations amend regulation 12(6) of the Severn Bridge Regulations 1993 by adding the word "refuelling" as one of the factors to be used to assess the charge payable when a vehicle has broken down and by increasing the rates of charge payable.
