The Ashford Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1994

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of powers conferred on her by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1] and section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990[2] and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation, commencement and interpretation
1.(1) This Order may be cited as the Ashford Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1994 and shall come into force on 20th June 1994.
(2) Inthis Order, unless the context otherwise requires, "the Order"means the Ashford Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1991[3].
Change in number of directors of NHS Trust
2. In Article 4 of the Order for "5 non-executive" there shall be substituted "4 non-executive" and for "5 executive" there shall be the substituted "4 executive".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)This Order changes the number of non-executive and executive directors of the Ashford Hospital National Health Service Trust from five to four in each case.
