The Scunthorpe Community Health Care National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1994

    The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1] and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of hospitals and other establishments and facilities formerly managed by the Scunthorpe Health Authority resulting from the establishment of the Scunthorpe Community Health Care National Health Service Trust[2], having consulted the Grimsby and Scunthorpe Health Authority[3] and that Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
    Citation, commencement and interpretation
        1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the Scunthorpe Community Health Care National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 15th June 1994.

        (2)  In this Order-
      "the Authority" means the Grimsby and Scunthorpe Health Authority;
      "the Trust" means the Scunthorpe Community Health Care National Health Service Trust;
      "the trust property" means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the Authority and the Trust on 21st January 1994, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both the Authority and the Trust.

    Transfer of trust property
        2.    On 15th June 1994 the trust property shall be transferred from the Authority to the Trust.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order transfers to the Scunthorpe Community Health Care National Health Service Trust on 15th June 1994 trust property formerly held by the Grimsby and Scunthorpe Health Authority. A copy of the schedule of trust property to which the Order refers can be obtained at the Department of Health, National Health Service Trust Unit, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7UE.
