The Police (Amendment) (No. 4) Regulations 1993

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 33 of the Police Act 1964[1], after taking into consideration the recommendations made by the Police Negotiating Board for the United Kingdom and furnishing the said Board with a draft of the Regulations in accordance with section 2(1) of the Police Negotiating Board Act 1980[2], I hereby make the following Regulations: Citation, commencement and interpretation.
1.(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police (Amendment) (No. 4) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 22nd November 1993, but regulation 2 shall have effect as from 1st April 1993 and regulations 3 and 4 shall have effect as from 1st September 1993.
(2) In these Regulations "the principal Regulations" means the Police Regulations 1987[3].
Removal allowance 2. Regulation 53(7) of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the figure "£1,257" the figure "£1,290". Scales of pay 3. Schedule 5 to the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for Tables A and B the tables set out in the Schedule to these Regulations. Dog handler's allowance 4. Schedule 11 to the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the figure "£915" the figure "£930" and for the figure "£1,251" the figure "£1,269".
