The Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1990 (Commencement No.12) Order 1993

Made	14th September 1993

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 75(2) of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1990(^[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation
    1.    This Order may be cited as the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1990 (Commencement No.12) Order 1993.

Interpretation
    2.    In this Order-
"the Act" means the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1990.

Commencement
    3.    Sections 10, 11 and 12 of the Act (small trusts, expenditure of capital and dormant accounts of charities) shall come into force on 15th September 1993.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order appoints 15th September 1993 for the coming into force of sections 10, 11 and 12 of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1990. This Order brings into force the remaining provisions of Part I of that Act dealing with charities which are not already in force.
