The Special Trustees for the Royal London Hospital (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1993

    The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977 [1] and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of hospitals and facilities resulting from the establishment of the Royal London Hospital and Associated Community Services National Health Service Trust [2], having consulted the Special Trustees for the Royal London Hospital and that Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
    Citation, commencement and interpretation
        1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the Special Trustees for the Royal London Hospital (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 19th July 1993.

        (2)  In this Order:—
      "the Special Trustees" means the Special Trustees for the Royal London Hospital;

      "the Trust" means the Royal London Hospital and Associated Community Services National Health Service Trust;

      "the trust property" means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the Trust and the Special Trustees on 11th January 1993 which schedule has been signed on behalf of both the Trust and the Special Trustees.

    Transfer of trust property
        2.    On 19th July 1993 the trust property shall be transferred from the Trust to the Special Trustees.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order transfers to the Special Trustees for the Royal London Hospital on 19th July 1993 trust property formerly held by the Royal London Hospital and Associated Community Services National Health Service Trust. A copy of the schedule of trust property to which the Order refers can be obtained at the Department of Health, National Health Service Trust Unit, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7UE.
