The A11 Trunk Road (Stump Cross to A505 Junction Improvement) Slip Roads Order 1993

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[1], and now vested in him[2], and of all other enabling powers: 1. The new highways which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the routes described in the Schedule to this Order which connect the trunk road with other highways at the places stated in that Schedule (the highways along these routes being in this Order referred to as "the slip roads") shall become trunk roads as from the date when this Order comes into force. 2. The centre line of each of the slip roads is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan. 3. In this Order:
(a) all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway;
| (b) | means the plan numbered HA 10/2E/330 marked "The A11 Trunk Road (Stump Cross to A505 Junction Improvement) Slip Roads Order 1993", signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Rom-ney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY; | (ii) "the side roads order"
| means "The A11 Trunk Road (Stump Cross to A505 Junction Improvement) Side Roads Order 1993"; and | | means the A11 Trunk Road; |
4. This Order shall come into force on 23rd June 1993 and may be cited as the A11 Trunk Road (Stump Cross to A505 Junction Improvement) Slip Roads Order 1993. Signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport
